Garment Description

Straight fit mandarin collar full sleeves midi jacket with scallop detail on hem. Constructed in placement intricate sozni motifs hand embroidery on 100% merino wool fabric. Finished with contrast collage handblock print 100% silk lining.

Sozni embroidery—is a 500 year old needle craft embroidery  passed down through generations. Each piece reimagines traditional motifs with delicate chain stitches in silk and wool threads. Originally sozni was done in Kashmir on pashmina wool shawls in silk threads. We’ve used the dexterity and elegance of sozni and contemporized it in patterns, colors, and stitch variations.
